Man you can get a lot done when there is no power, and your cell phone is almost dead, so you don't want to use it unwisely. Spent most of the day actually going through clothes and making piles and piles of stuff to get rid of. Yay me!
1. Threw this on to go and see the waves at a local beach, later in the afternoon (Arthur went through in the morning). I scored this jacket from a consultant last week - it's really cozy, and the right red for me :). A nice surprise. Worn with the Athleta capri's - perfect combo for hurricane watching. Took the pic when we got back - thus the hair
2-3. The waves. The girls had a BLAST playing in them... even though it was absolutely freezing. As we were leaving, a guy arrived and went totally in, even dove into some of the waves. Crazy.
4. Wore this to go out to supper. I was glad it was a little cooler than normal, perfect for a.... J Crew linen sweater! Also the debut of some Lululemon silky capris. And for some reason my wedge cons haven't seen a lot of daylight this spring, and probably won't now that my toes have been exposed, so this was a good chance to wear them. What do you all think of this outfit? I realized once I'd left the house that a white scarf might have been a nice edition. It was cool enough that it would have been practical as well.
