Hi folks, I've been busy and sick, and so have got a bit behind in posting. But would love your thoughts on the clothes I wore last week.

1. I felt better in this than I feel I look in the photo. The photo makes me look really top heavy. Hmm. Is the rise on the pants too low for me?

2. That difficult to style ponte skirt! I did feel fairly good in this, but not spectacular.

3. Felt good in this.

4. Funny facial expression here I do really like this outfit, I feel it's quite "me".

5. I also love this dress - sooo comfy! My tights are zebra, but it's hard to tell in the pic.

6. And, simple thought it is, I think this is one of my favs of the week. Possibly because I got away from black!!

Love feedback on anything and everything. I'm really trying to define my "style", other than "boring".

Is this too many pics to post at once? I think it might be hard to expect people to comment when faced with six. What do you think? Just learning the "ropes"...

It's not too many pics. These are all nice looks. The shirt in #1 is a really pretty color. My favorite is the red striped shirt and red shoes.

Greetings, Elizabeth! 3,4 and 6 are my favorites! The angle of the photo and the sheen in the top in #1 might be a culprit here -- more photos from different angles and slightly different lighting might give you a more realistic "view." I think if there's a flattery issue, it's likely in the combination of the shine and shape of the top added to the rise. This rise of jean with a sweater or woven top might be terrific!

Love to see you in brights and, while black is clearly your neutral, Spring is a great time to explore lighter and brighter, too!

These are not too many photos. My favorites are the same as Beth Ann's...3, 4 and 6. I like color and light neutrals to break up the dark, especially as your hair is also very dark.

3 really jumps out as a great outfit. I also like doing a column of color like you have in several of these. Something about the first pictures seems a bit overwhelming in size, you seem petite. It might just be the photo though. How do you feel in all of these. Which ones make your heart sing? That is the starting point for figuring your style, finding the ones you LOVE and trying to repeat them by figuring out what makes you love them.

I'm sorry to hear you've not been feeling well, Elizabeth, hope you are back to feeling 100% again soon. I think the number of pictures with the short descriptions is fine and very manageable;-)

My favourites are 1 (love this shade of blue on you), 3 (like how the blue breaks up the black), 4 (the cardi is also a really nice colour on you) and 6 (happy stripes! and bookending with the sweet red shoes + you look great in this type of V-neck style top).

You bring up an interesting question. I have posted WIWs with multiple outfits, and ones with just one outfit or two outfits, and I find that they both have merits. Multiple outfits really give readers a sense of one's emerging style. But fewer outfits have the merit of being easier for readers to respond to.

This is a great collection of looks. My favorites are 2,3,4 and 6. I think what they have in common is -- color! Bright, rich colors complement your gorgeous complexion.

While 2 doesn't have as many bright colors, I do like this outfit on you because right now I'm so into vests and the color white!
