WIW 1/27: Purple and orange

Sorry for the awful photo quality! You will have to take my word for it that the jacket is bright purple. It's gray and rainy today so I chose bright colors to brighten things up a bit!

Orange pants: Banana Republic c/o Suz
Watercolor print blouse: thrifted
Purple jacket: Amber Sun
Taupe booties: BP
Taupe bag: Merona

In house news, the guest bath is almost up and running. Fixtures are in and the sink plumbing will be hooked up tomorrow. Shower glass coming next week and it will be finished! Woo-hoo!

I have to admit that upon reading the subject line, the first thing I imagined was Orioles orange and Ravens purple (sorry, just can't escape the hometown sports affiliations!), and I was a little scared.

I like this much better. The muted eggplant and pumpkin colors are unexpected but play really well together.

The green tile in the bathroom is gorgeous! And I'm loving the black door too…

Squee!! My orange pants come out to play! Oh, am I ever glad i sent those to you. Love them on you every time. I looked over my last year's pics recently and found the try-ons for those pants. They literally go with everything in my wardrobe -- and I never would have worn them! Sigh....

Great color combination - one I would not have thought off. I have a pair of coral color jeans and a suede purple jacket both of which I have had for several years. I am going to go see how they look together right now! Thanks for the idea and you look wonderful!
