This is my first WIW post, so I'm still trying to figure out how to take reasonable pictures of outfits. I'm super impressed by everyone who manages to post selfies - I tried to take a couple and ended up asking a friend to take them for me.
I generally try to wear new clothes almost as soon as I get it, since if I don't, they don't end up making it into my clothing rotation. I got this drape-y vest thing (is it a vest? I'm not actually sure what to call it) from my mom over Thanksgiving break, so I decided today was a good day to break it in. You can see some of the more exciting shaping/texture of the vest in the second picture. I wore the white linen shirt to put in some contrast and break up the otherwise black column of the outfit, and my black skinny jeans to contrast the flow of the vest. Finished it off with my black boots to give myself a couple of inches and make myself look taller.
