Day 2: Monochrome plus a pop of color (Sheath Dress Challenge #1)
Even though it is my firm conviction that leopard is a neutral, today I am using it as my pop of color! This calfhair belt is from Talbots and is a few years old -- it's been a real wardrobe workhorse! I don't really do sheath dresses but I love this fit-and-flare Tahari dress that I picked up at this year's NAS. And I don't usually wear tights but it's a little cool in So Cal today and I am feeling nice and cozy. The ponte moto jacket is from my very earliest days at YLF and I still love it as much as ever. I think the round neckline works with the complicated neckline of the dress -- what do you all think?
And I am cheating on the "monochrome" thing by carrying the colorblocked bag because I just could. not. bear. to be ALL BLACK. LOL
