WIW 12/26: Back to work in brown and navy

I like this outfit quite a bit in person but feel like the photos are kind of awful. Huh. I almost didn't post it but I figured it would be cheating if I only posted the photos I was super happy with!

Anyway, it's cold and rainy and I wanted to be simple and cozy. You will have to take my word for it that the scarf is a very very light weave and doesn't look as overwhelming in real life as it does in the photos! Also, bad hair. Ugh.

Love it! I have a white scarf like this (except mine's from Target!) and FWIW, it often comes across the same way in pictures, not sure why. I love the sweater/blazer combo. That tote is a yummy cherry on top!

Being honest, this is a perfectly fine outfit, but I feel it lacks your usual flair and zing. It's all nice, but I expect the unexpected from you. I guess I shouldn't demand so much all the time - it's your first day back from vacation!

I love the blue striped sweater with the brown pants. Is the pattern mix with the jacket bothering you? I can't tell since the scarf covers most of the shirt but the overall effect looks good to me. Maybe you just feel too neutral?
