I literally threw this outfit together in five minutes — proof that my wardrobe is working really well for me right now. I have enough special pieces that I can dress up jeans and a top with little effort.

I started with the COH straight leg jeans that I altered by slitting the hems to make them more wearable. Added a basic black sleeveless wrap top as an underlayer and the Zara velvet blazer I got for a ridiculous price because the belt was missing (I cut the belt loops off). The Hispanitas boots finished it off. I am wearing the necklace I bought in San Miguel last month and a cuff I’ve had for years. With bold necklace and cuff, I went more subtle with earrings and ring (both of those gifts from hubs).

Had a great time at the party and the jacket and shoes always get compliments!

Bonus, you get to see my new phone case, made from one of my art pieces. On Saturday I realized that it matched my scarf (from JCrew a few years ago)!
