WIW 1/2: Not quite a suit with turquoise, leopard and red

I love the look of not-quite-matching not-quite-suit pieces, and today I teamed my aqua skirt with my turquoise jacket and added a leopard shirt and new red bag. Happiness factor? Sky high!

Aqua pencil skirt: Halogen
Turquoise jacket: Amber Sun
Leopard shirt: J Crew
Nude pumps: Target
Red satchel: Banana Republic

Nothing earthshaking, nothing super original, but it was nice to wake up on the second "Monday" of the week and have something super easy and reasonably fab to throw on and go.

You are so fab, I don't really feel qualified to give advice...but what about auditioning a different coloured jacket? I think a mustard something (see photo below) would be fab.

Your hair is looking especially good this week...a couple inches shorter?

Okay, so I love your combo, of course, because we form a mutual admiration society. Our core work styles are so similar it is almost ridiculous. I adore everything you post! You look fantastic.

Carla's picture, though, is going to send me running home to check out what I might have that would duplicate that combo. So beautiful! Hmmmm, leopard purse, cognac booties, cobalt trousers, but what for the scarf and sweater. I wish I could wear mustard and caramel like that!

Duh! I made such a mess of getting that photo...can't believe I cut out the red bag.

MaryK, I'm on an iPad, and I haven't figured out a way to link to things (can't cut-paste-drag). Techie DS #1 thinks there might be a way for me to type out an URL (or something like that) or I might just have to kick him or DH off the computer sometimes.

I'm not quite as much a fan of the two shades of blue AND leopard, but I'm not on Team Maximal.
