WIW 1/17: Copying again in black, white, tan, and leopard

I had planned to wear some plainer shoes today but the Fauxkalas jumped out of the closet and sure enough, they were just the thing!

Leopard print pumps: Steven by Steve Madden
Black and white striped top: Lands End
White midi skirt: Zara
Tan jacket: Amber Sun
Tan belt: YLF swap
Colorblock tote: VInce Camuto
Straw hat: little tiny hat store in San Diego

Thanks for looking! I know these copycats are crazy, but they sure are fun! And they do give me great ideas -- I don't think I would have thought to put these colors together otherwise!

You are too cute in #1!! And what a fantastic outfit. You know, the other day, I squealed over your fab colours after a few days of neutrals, and here I am now wanting to squeal over your fab neutrals after a few days of colour! You can do no wrong.

And that skirt (I will say it again) was your best buy of the year. Along with the shoes.

Suz, I agree with you about this skirt! Best buy of the year, maybe best buy ever! This is a fun outfit because everything except the bag is new(ish) (by which I mean it was all purchased post-separation) and it makes me feel as though I am Getting On With Things.

Merwoman, thanks for the compliment! I look at myself next to the model and I feel anything but micro, so... thanks!

Oh, and re: the pose, I didn't mean to mirror her, I meant to copy her exactly. But for some reason no matter how hard I try I can.not.manage. to get the rights and lefts to come out right... and left! LOL

I feel like a proud auntie to that skirt since I was there when you bought it, even though I had absolutely nothing to do with it and could only be classified as a bystander / lookie loo. Such is the power of that skirt and your fashion sense.
