I was so bummed the other day when Angie pointed out that my favorite black dress pants were in pretty flagrant violation of PPL (perfect pants length). I really wanted to wear them today for this Pinterest copycat look, but I couldn't un-see the length problem!
Fortunately my black ballet flats jumped out of the closet and saved the day! Yay!!
And may I just say that I had despaired of ever finding a white button-front shirt that didn't gap or make me feel like a stuffed sausage, but this one has a nice poet-y cut and I just love it! It pays to be patient and picky!!
And because it's me, I had to replace the black clutch in the inspiration pic for a nice cobalt clutch!
White shirt: Can't remember, from the Rack
Black pants Ann Taylor
Houndstooth knit blazer: Ellen Tracy
Black flats (they actually have a tiny wedge): Life Stride
Blue "snake" clutch: Veronica M (local boutique)
Thanks for looking! I am also wearing my fleece-lined tights in our Arctic-to-us 47-degree weather and happy as a nice warm clam!
