WIW 1/16 - 1/19: polka dots, plaid, and floral (30x30)

Next batch!

Tues -- sage green henley and olive green polka dot pants. Really enjoyed my matchy olive accessories today.

Weds -- added a top to my 30. Plaid, but not flannel. Love the colours, not sure how I feel about it with olive though. Usually wear it with black jeans.

Thurs -- same olive chinos as yesterday, plus the floral chambray shirt. pretty sure I wore this exact same outfit in my June 30x30, but without puffy vest and long johns. Hooray year-round pieces!

Fri -- plaid dolman-sleeve top is getting a second wear, this time over the eggplant Merino dress and charcoal leggings. Can't see them here but I had on my Frye Moto boots and really like the overall effect. Warmer temps gave me a wider range of footwear options this week. Also: close-up of the chunky rose quartz pendant I'm wearing today.

La Ped, I love your style, it is so great! Tuesday's outfit is fabulous - the sage green is wonderful on you and soo nice with the matching olive accessories. Love these polka dots trousers!

Lovely necklaces combined with your plaid top - I especially like todays picture. The whole outfit is wonderful - you achieve such an interesting, casual and cool vibe which suits you so well - I really love it.

The matchy-matchy olive accessories are super cute. And fab to see non-denim bottoms.

I think you need more turquoise in your wardrobe. Brings out your pretty eyes.

Katerina -- I love this plaid top because its neckline plays so nicely with pendant necklaces.

Rachy -- I was liking red a lot right up through Christmas, then fell hard for green once January rolled around. I'm all about tonal greens right now...

Smittie -- yup, lip colour -- I wear it pretty often but rarely catch it in photos. #1 is a pretty good representation of what I look like when I head out the door (or what I aim for anyway). So much more visual interest with outerwear, right? As for hats -- that's pretty much where they want to sit; I have no tips. It's either that, or they fall over my eyes (I have a small head).

Angie -- believe it or not, I got a matching turquoise tote bag and wallet for Christmas! They're washable nylon, not fancy, but good for my lifestyle as everyday carries. I'm on the lookout for a convertible crossbody in turquoise for special occasions. I never remember to grab my bag for WIW photos.

Mainelady -- yes, texture!! I need it in the winter. Anything to offset the sea of dark neutrals. If we get a few more warm-ish days, I'm pulling out my tweed skirt next week. Angie's post this morning was inspiring.

Another week of outfit success for you, in spite of the cold! Your polka dots pants are very fun, and you look great in your sunglasses.

I think a turquoise cross body bag is a wonderful idea for you. The color is very flattering on you, and it would also work well with a lot of the colors you often wear. Plus, how fun is a turquoise bag?!

I love that plaid top, especially the neckline. Your necklace is gorgeous!
