We returned home from Texas earlier than we expected, since my stepson and his wife wanted us to share their first Thanksgiving together with them and his wife's parents. We love it on the ranch, but it's good to be home. Sometimes we wish we could pick up the ranch and move it to MD.
It seems that my arrival back home has coincided with the arrival of truly chilly temps as the fall days dwindle. I'm happily reaching for boots and warm layers. Today I decided to wear two new pieces I purchased at Zara before I left for TX. Even though I have an oversized vest (the Philip Lim 3.1 patina leather vest), I just couldn't resist this black moto vest -- the faux fur is soft, the fit is nice, and it's one of those Zara pieces that looks more expensive than it is. I can zip it up if needed, but I doubt I'll wear it that way.
I'm also debuting this cream knit top with black accents and an asymmetrical zipper detail at the hip. I was craving a little light neutral in my cool weather tops, since most of my f/w tops are dark.
Worn with the Ugg Cortonas (with spats) and Paige straight leg jeans. Added a little pattern mixing with the plaid pony clutch and leopard print scarf.
Comments & suggestions always welcome. I hope everyone who celebrates has a happy Thanksgiving!
