WIW 11/17 and 11/18 and a couple of catch-ups

I've been so busy running around with house stuff I'm woefully behind on my WIW posts!

1/2. Over the weekend I picked up a new sweater at Target and yesterday I debuted it with some old favorites and was really happy with how it turned out.

4. You saw this in the bathtub shot a few days ago, but here it is standing up! One of my very fave standby combos, with new navy track pants.

5. I wore this to Rotary last Wednesday and the shoes created quite a stir! LOL

House report: I finally finished the dining room chair re-upholstery project. If I'd known what a pain it would be I would have hired it out, but it looks great if you don't look too closely at the workmanship! Purple velvet -- yum!!

I love the target sweater. My favorite combo is #3, the pieces from last year.
Your chairs look great. Don't you just love it when you "see" someone else do a project on a blog or TV that seems to take them 30 minutes and it takes you 30 hours?! You've probably already said but are you leaving the table as is or is it getting painted also? Maybe we need a home decorating tab on ylf.

I love looks 1/2 and 3 -- very fresh to my eye and very Ms. Mary. The house is really shaping up, you can tell it is a woman's home-- a ton of fun!

What fab looks Mary. I love the bright red plaid scarf in 1/2 and the monochrome look in 3 is very current looking. I'm liking the olive in the other two looks and how fun with the hounds tooth skirt.

Elle, the purple ceiling is in the den/TV room. Dining room has gray walls and light aqua ceiling. But we're kind of using the same colors throughout the house, just in different places.

Great outfits. I love the plaid/animal print mix in #1 and the mix of olive green with black & white. Something I would never think of.

So fun watching you put your house together. I love the mix of elegance and fun that is reflective in your choices.

I love all the looks, but especially the red suede pumps. Could you share with us the bubble chandelier source? I'm also ( very slowly) decorating my flat and i'm so loving it!

Great as always! Great new sweater, particularly fun with the plaid scarf. #3 also makes my heart flutter. I don't know that I ever said it, but I'm happy that you updated all of your sweet pumps to pointy toes, though that must have been quite the project.

(House is looking sweet! I love the finished dining chairs, can't wait to see the bubbly chandelier.)

Aida, I did the pointy-shoe mass purchase earlier in the year and it has made a big difference! Still missing a few colors but I'm most of the way there. New shoes make even an older outfit seem fresh, don't they?
