I have been kinda sorta seeing a man from my Rotary Club, and he invited me to a dinner party at the home of the president of the club. He told me said president had jokingly mentioned the affair was "black tie optional," and suggested he wear his tux and I wear a gown and show up all dressed up for a laugh. So we did and it was a lot if fun!
And once again I wanted to hug my closet because I had everything I needed for a "formal" affair, all ready to go! Gotta love it! It's all several years old but I felt great in it anyway! The dress is from Macy's, wrap I don't even remember, Ralph Lauren strappy gold sandals, and Coach evening bag.
The big house news is actually in my outfit shot: after weeks of searching, I scored a perfect pair of white lacquer nightstands from one of the online resale sites. My designer found them and I picked them up yesterday. I especially love the three drawers for my undies! And in other news, the painters were here yesterday painting the den ceiling a gorgeous purple!! Big fun! Counting down to the Thanksgiving (partial) reveal!
