WIW 11/14: Lilac, Leopard and White

I loved today's ensemble post and couldn't wait to try it out. I had intended to wear my toffee blazer but the leopard cardigan jumped off the shelf and demanded to join the party, and who was I to refuse?

This outfit is especially fun because the top and jeans were passed on to me by fellow fabbers!!

Jeans: hand me down from CocoLion
Lilac shirt: hand me down from Carter
Leopard cardi: JC Penney
Cognac/cream oxfords: Miz Mooz
White satchel: Banana Republuc

House update: we are starting to install the finishes! Love the bedroom chandelier! And I just need a little table next to the bathtub so I can rest my glass of wine!

Oh, lovely! I like a bit of leopard. Your shoes bookend your cardigan really well and I love the white bag with this.

The hair is great. Thos jeans are killing me - fabulous. Love your signature leopard, it looks frat with lilac.

Your house is coming together beautifully. Btw, we still don't have ceiling lightings We favour lamps anyway, so cheap ones from Ikea and candles do the job while we figure out the final positions of some furniture pieces so the lights can be positioned correctly.

I can't decide which is cuter, you or your fab bathroom! What about a garden stool for the bathroom for your glass of wine? Maybe a turquoise one or some other fun color? Overstock has some nice ones!

I was going to go with some leopard today, too, but decided to forego it. Only temporarily, of course.

I love the bathtub and the tub outfit. That striped sweater and magic scarf are a brilliant pairing, one I have used time and again!

That last photo cracks me up, Mary:-)) And your new chandelier is beautiful.

Your leopard print cardigan knew what it was doing: it brings extra sass to this already spunky and fab outfit. Love this shade of lilac on you, Mary, wow, the jeans are great too, and I really like the introduction of the extra colours with those red shoes peeking out from under the jeans, and the crisp white bag.

Like Suz, I'm also a big fan of the striped top and patterned scarf look. So thumbs up for that as well.

Ornella, you haven't missed anything -- I have the day off so I didn't bother with blow-dry/flat-iron! ;). Friday Day Off Hair!

Oh, and the ceiling light was a splurge because the expensive nightstands we wanted were unavailable. And then no sooner did we get it installed than the nightstands magically showed up again. Oop$...

"Leopard and lilac" should be a song title. The tub shot is such fun. I am upset with myself that I didn't get the cognac/creme version of the Miz Mooz oxfords when they were available.
