Today is Day 2 of my storytelling workshop and we are telling our stories. Most of the pieces in this outfit are new or newish. The Talbots athleisure jacket is a favorite, although I have been a bit disappointed because it's pilled a bit in the wash. I added a worn-backwards white tee to the sweater for a bit of interest after reading unfrumped's thread the other day. It doesn't show a lot but I feel like it adds a bit of pizzazz. Bag is ancient, jeans are newish, booties from a couple of years ago. Initial necklace is a gift from a dear friend and I've been wearing it a lot!!
Also fun fact: I just realized the theme of my story relates to my word of the year: Equanimity. And here I am in my color of the year, maroon! Fun!
Maybe it's the former dress-for-the-office in me, but I can't help but think the third piece jacket really helps here.
