I swear, I am quite the social butterfly this weekend!

1. This morning I met some girlfriends for brunch. Super casual for the hot weather in some old summer faves.

White BF jeans: Joe's Jeans
Gray striped top: Target
Silver sandals: Birkenstock
White satchel: Banana Republic

2. This afternoon I am going to a charity event with a lady friend from Rotary. She suggested wearing "a sun dress or something else pretty and casual," and since I don't own any sundresses, a skirt and top will have to do.

Print tee: Ted Baker
Black sandals: Life Stride
Blue clutch: Veronica M

3. House report: I left the nice big microwave at The Former Family Residence and its replacement arrived this week. Look! It's so shiny I can see myself! And because I can't resist, here's a better angle of the back yard now that I've got my "real" camera working again after a few days of dead batteries!

Coming back to report that although I felt a tad bit underdressed at the charity event, I had a great time and drank wine out of a bottle with a label that made me think of the Fabbers! Big fun!!

Two great outfits! I love the pop of yellow in the first one and the way your blue clutch brings out the blue in the shirt.

Your yard is gorgeous. That fire pit is going to be so much fun when the weather cools.

Gah! I love that Ted a Baker tee in #2. It looks great with a black skirt. The first outfit is great for a casual brunch in the heat. The citron and grey with white is striking and the silver sandals bookend nicely.
Your yard looks peaceful and inviting. Good job picking plants that can take the heat. That is the mother of all microwaves. Every woman should be able to use her microwave as a mirror
