I"ve worn this combo a few times since buying it few weeks ago. It caught my eye on a mannequin at the Gap , not for any reason other than it had simple, classic appeal, and I bought the whole outfit on a bit of a whim. The mannequin actually wore flared jeans, and I bought those too , but they are not remotely high enough in the rise and really looked bad on me. WAY too long too, and hemming would have eliminated much of the flare. What is it with GAP jeans anyways?? Half of them are great and half are horrible.

I am enjoying the coziness factor of a thick knit t-shirt (something I've never owned nor worn) , and the cardigan is warm, soft and not too stretchy and drapey. Just right . I'm trying to remember to stick to lower contrast outfits too , which this one is. It's starting to snow here again today, and I needed a scarf for some neck coverage......this baby alpaca one from Pokoloko ( a line I rep for ) worked really nicely. As soon as I can find some flared jeans with a higher rise, I'll swap those in for these skinnies, and will add some pointy toe boots.

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians - enjoy our lovely long weekend ahead! (I'll be working all weekend, so have delegated all dinner prep and cooking to husband and daughter ......looking forward to seeing what they come up with !!)
