I'm still dressing with Frakenboot in mind - the bandages come off tomorrow, with hopefully no x-rays needed/no major damage to the toe I had my surgery on last spring.

After looking back through Angie's blog posts, This weekend I decided to take some inspiration from her Fall & Winter Must Haves list. Today DH and I took a drive down to the Catskill mountains to look at the fall foliage, and I tried doing the sporty luxe look. I wore a new pair of Joe Fresh tweed-look sweat pants and paired it with my nice thick weight white long sleeved tee and a red lightweight puffer vest.

Yesterday I wore one of my favorite blazers - it's an oversized, 80's inspired, wool tweed-with-polka-dot lining Bar III jacket that I've had since fall 2012. I feel very Duran Duran when wearing it! I paired it with my Old Navy Rockstar skinnies. I've been kind of off wearing skinnies but they seemed appropriate for this blazer. I wore this to go to church with a friend (it's a very casual church).
