Hello Everyone
This is what I am wearing today initially for a walk by the sea (not on the beach).

I am enjoying the 70's inspired short top over long top look a lot. Today I am wearing a turquoise cotton turtle neck, that I usually only wear as underwear in deep winter. Today under a top that is only suitable in Fall because it is a velvety type material, and quite hot. It has a ready-made pattern mix, with animal print on top and teal patterns on the lower half. Both are made locally.

Worn with thrifted dark wash boyfriend jeans and blush pink Puma sneaks.

The coat is from SA and not warm enough for winters here due to the shorter cut in the body and the sleeves. There is a blush pink stripe in the plaid of the jacket which is dark brown and cream/beige.

My earrings are very sentimental as I received an earring/necklace set from my beloved late cousin, also my best friend. She bought them for me on a trip she won to Israel in the early 90's. The earrings and necklace were broken and I only had these two pieces left from the necklace and I made them into earrings. I think they tie in nicely with the theme on the bottom half of the pattern of the outer shirt as well as the color of the turtleneck.

The daisy ring is 25 years old, not any special stones, but good quality as the metal has never discolored in all this time.

My socks also tie up with the turquoise in the turtleneck and only a glimpse is caught of them when walking.

Later DH and I drove to our nearest city on the sea for an outside lunch as the weather is very sunny today. I changed my sneakers for chocolate brown mock-croc ankle boots and carried a beige studded handbag.

All comments welcome. Thanks for looking.
