WIW 10/28-29: Shoptoberfest puchases, Breast Cancer Pinktober, and new bauble

1. I got this citron top at Marshall's and busted it out yesterday for the trip home. Very soft and I think it will be a great addition!

2-3. Today I finally got on board for Breast Cancer Awareness Month with this new pink peacock print blouse from Loehmann's. I was thrilled to see that it matched my magenta skirt so perfectly!

4. I couldn't help snapping a close-up of my new pendant, which I had made out of the stone from my engagement ring and the gold from my engagement and wedding rings plus some unworn earrings. I think it's going to be a real signature piece for me! (The iPhone case is a Shoptoberfest find, too! Thanks to Zap for finding the stash of Kate Spade phone cases at the Rack!)

Absolutely gorgeous all round! Wow! I love you in that citron sweater and the pink outfit is absolutely sublime! The blouse and skirt are such a rich and gorgeous pairing. I'll bet the skirt would look great with the sweater in #1, too!

As for your pendant, that is beautiful and meaningful. What a great idea.

yay for repurposed jewelry. i had my first engagement ring made into a pinky ring a size too large so i grow into it in my 50s-60s.

citron is such a happy color.

Love the boots and bag combo in #1 and how the cognac plays off the citron, the brown, the blue, the magenta pink. I'd say that scarf is perfect for having all of "your" colors except that there probably doesn't exist a color that isn't Your Color.

Citron and cognac look fab together, but my squeals are for that peacock blouse and how perfectly it goes with your pencil skirt! I'm envious of how nicely your black boots fit. So far my search for tall boots have led me to gappy town.
