WIW 10/26 : My Loud Plaid (or Not)

Hi All,

My outfit yesterday, for the last cataract surgery control, was inspired by this Friday's post. It reminded me of my plaid cardigan that I haven't worn in a few years, corona time. It is interesting that the last time I wore this dress was a few days before the corona lockdown. As the weather is still nice and just right for a cardigan, here is my check combination of loud plaid, maybe it's not loud but never mind. I wore red unstructured dress, red and black checked cardigan, sheer nude hosiery, silver oxfords and silver brooch and red bag (#1). Today I took a silver bag and a silver long necklace. (#2). I also tried with black sheer hosiery, black oxfords and long necklace too, maybe a little dark but not too bad for autumn. (#3)

All the pieces are old, but here is a new outfit.

Had the surgery this year, miraculous change in vision, easy, no complications, wish you the same! And my goodness, you look put together. The waiting room needs you as most of us look pretty schlubby in my docs.
Seriously, I also dress a little more formally for the doc office as I find I get taken more seriously. Armour, I guess.

Adore the precision of the coat hem being the perfect/same length as the dress. Though not essential, that attention to detail tickles my fancy. This is a wonderful outfit, and one to keep in mind for a repeat over the winter holiday season.
