I really enjoyed wearing my faux fur vest yesterday and decided to wear it again today for running around the town doing various errands. I am also having fun putting together outfits based on various ensembles Angie posted in the past two months as it has finally cooled off enough to be able to wear them.
The outfit is inspired by the Preppy Equestrian version of the Plush Vest Ensemble. With all the recent talk of chocolate brown, I decided to make it brown based instead of black. The color inspiration came from a plaid shirt from NAS a couple of years ago, which has off-white, brown, light blue and a touch of peach. I wore the shirt over a light blue merino J Crew turtleneck and tucked them both into my AG light wash jeans. The boots are pretty old, chocolate brown suede from an Italian brand Apepazza I got of Yoox long time ago. I also added a brown braided Gap belt and finished it of with the off-white plush ON vest.
