1. One of my goals for Shoptoberfest was to find a chunky knit, and after trying on pretty much every one in Orange County and having Aida shoot 'em all down, I found this one at H&M, of all places. It was finally cool enough to wear it yesterday and I teamed it with my gray Halogen pencil skirt, Madden Girl gray pumps, pink/gold/ivory/gray silk scarf from Coach, and Michael Kors gold bag. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, although I think it looked better in person that in the photo.
2. After H&M the Shoptoberfesters went to J Crew, where Aida and I both snagged this gorgeous merino wool striped pullover. On her suggestion I sized up to a large for a great slouchy look, which I love. I love how the tan shoulder portion bookends my tan Halogen pencil skirt!
I was originally planning on wearing my Miz Mooz two-toned heeled oxfords and Vince Camuto colorblock bag (photo 2), but in the end I decided this look was a little too matchy/manrepellery for the office. So I changed into my nude Seychelles shooties and silver Michael Kors tote, which are a little more subdued (photo 3). Which accessories do you all prefer? Oh, and the fab black pendant is an Aida pick from H&M!
