Last Friday I was working from home as I wasn't feeling too well, and this week has been fairly warm with highs in low 80s, so I never got a chance to put together an outfit based on the plaid shirt ensemble till today. The weather has gotten much colder and it was fairly windy as well, so layers and plaid worked very well. I went on a fun chocolate tasting walking tour in Georgetown with a couple of good friends, and we got to taste some yummy treats and learn lots of intersting facts about some historical buildings and events in Georgetown.
My outfit was based on the first combination suggested in the post, with burgundy instead of tomato, and many layers. The base outfit consisted of plaid burgundy Zara shirt, cropped kick flare Joe's Jeans I hacked, silver studded Express belt, silver Elizabeth&James booties, silver/rose gold MJ watch and pearl/ribbon AT necklace. The subsequent layers were burgundy ponte Gibson blazer, cream faux fur ON vest and crossbody white/black BR bag.
