WIW 10/19: In which I cut the tags on the moto/bomber

i decided to keep this jacket despite a lot of mixed-to-negative reviews on my K/R thread. Wore it today to a charity fundraiser at a bowling alley and had a blast, although I'm not 100% sure my surgeon would have been thrilled to see me bowling two games!

Black/brown sandals: Payless
Tan tote: Target
Brown belt: Target

Thanks for looking! Anybody change their mind about the jacket after seeing it styled?

You are naughty! Lol! I really like it open like this. It's not what I'm used to seeing you in but this is a fun casual look. It does look like a bomber/moto hybrid and you wear it well! Enjoy it!

I'm glad you kept the jacket! Other than the sleeves looking long (and you've fixed that), it looks good on you. And you look great in olive.

I liked it before and still like it. I hope you have no ill effects from the activity. I find bowling is harder on the glutes than anything else though so with luck you will have nothing worse than a slightly sore butt.

I missed the K/R too. The outfit is great and the jacket/sandal connection is perfect. I suppose that really shows the difference styling makes tho. Looks great.

It looks great - because you look so happy in it! That cropped Zara sweatshirt is so you - MaryK - love it! I still think the jacket looks a little big in the sleeves, but not really that bad. The thing about it that gives me more pause than the size, is the color. I'm not crazy about olive green and black on you. I just saw your thread with the Bailey dress and the blue (IMHO) is so much more flattering with your skin, eye, and hair color, than this "dirty" color!

So noted, Marley. I see what you mean in the photo. But I have always loved my olive pants and I love my olive sleeves, too! When it gets cooler I'll try to wear a scarf next to my face in a more flattering color!

ETA I rolled up the sleeves here but I do plan to get them shortened. Maybe I'll ask her if she can take them in a little. But I kind of like the "I'm wearing my boyfriend's varsity jacket" oversized look. LOL

You've worn olive green before and I've thought you looked terrific -- but then it's one of my favorite colors. You seem to be able to wear a wider range of colors than anyone I've seen.
