I'm sharing my third outfit from my 37-pieces capsule. Here's how I intend to pull this little game off (from now on referred to as U/Capsule #):
- I'm going to take pictures every day, one way or another. Within two weeks i'm relocated and I might not know where my camera is by then except for the phone camera, which will do just fine.
- I'm only showing what I actually wear. No change of footwear and other accessories to improve the outfit as long as it isn't actually worn.
- I'm only doing this for as long as I like. No specific time frame.
- I don't intend to add to the capsule right now, but I can if I feel like it. No shopping ban!
Easy, no?
Today: The first snow came this morning. Wet, cold and windy weather made my initial choice of boots impossible, so rain boots it was. Today's tasks included an errand into town before continuing the sorting and packing at home. I'm off teaching for a bit and work from home, which make most sartorial needs quite casual. I'd still like to wear a skirt, so I pulled out the black pencil skirt and paired it with the new charcoal silk/cashmere sweater. To keep warm while at my desk I topped it with the new grey poncho. Birkies are great as house slippers.
I twisted the poncho and pulled it over my head once more to make it into a scarf or shawl. What do you think? Does it work, or does it look like Santa's beard?
My outerwear was the old plaid coat (probably 6-7 years old) and the mentioned rain boots. Cognac leather gloves and messenger bag plus a black/grey polkadot umbrella finished it off.
Thanks for looking! Any and all comments are highly welcome.
