This is about as pared-down as I ever get! And as it turned out, it was cooler than I expected this morning and I ended up wishing I'd added a cardigan or jacket! LOL
Anyway, I was the lead teacher this morning so I wanted to be able to get down on the floor and move around, so I decided jeans and top were the order of the day. This is my version of Angie's classic fall casual ensemble, although I left off the scarf because I didn't want it to get in the way during craft time -- I substituted my playful owl pendant instead. (I'll add my fauxberry scarf when I go to the movies later!)
As usual, the 4th and 5th grade girls noticed and admired my shoes! And I am showing off my craft -- we talked about "reflection" and made "mirrors" out of aluminum foil to remind us to practice inward reflection as well as looking at our outer reflections!
Jeans; Earnest Sewn via swap
Breton striped top: Lands End
Pendant: local teeny bopper boutique
Booties: Bronx
Green tote: Coach
Thanks for looking! Any comments or suggestions?
ETA: changed out the necklace for a scarf, the small watch for a chunkier one, and added the light blue tote to be a slavish copycat of Angie's look for an afternoon at the movies! Big fun!
