Style Fan issued me a challenge a week or so ago to find some ways to style a floral print sweater I showed in this forum posting:

http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....xperiments

This cashmere sweater, which I've had for many years, had become quite an orphan. I love the colors and print but it's a little snug and a little short for my current preferences and the sleeves are bracelet length which feels chilly in winter. I was also stuck in "it's too dressy for everyday wear" thinking.

I came up with a few outfits and wore #1 today to meet a friend for breakfast:

1. with NYDJ grey jeans, a grey lightweight turtleneck, burgundy booties. There is only a tiny bit of grey in the sweater print but it works well as a complimentary color
2. same as #1 with a scarf in a sort of reverse print.
3. same as #1 with tan faux leather jacket
4. With red jeans (no find), cream turtleneck, taupe booties.

By early spring I might swap out the turtleneck for a less prominent underlayer that still extends the hemline.

Style Fan I owe you one!!! Thanks so much for issuing the challenge, it's an orphan no more!
