What an overwhelming amount of style descriptors! Really, I still stay true to slacker chic/comfy edgy vibe but a girl can't help but bombshell the VC skirt once in a while.

You would think that for someone who is ultra self-conscious of her torso, body skimming styles are never an option. Somehow, VC skirts have this magical effect of making me feel less conscious of my middle. You can still see the rounded ness on my 3/4 view photo but I really didn't mind. I was the happiest, comfiest girl. What I think helped is my scarf - somehow slipping that over my body skimming top made me feel "balanced" and took emphasis away from the waist. It was quite magical really.

And again - I pattern mix because it's cool.
