Seriously. I think I only bought two of these things without direct YLF influence.
Prime goal for this month is to keep wearing a variety of my new clothes, plus some older things that I'm not sure why they re languishing, to see if they diserve to stay. ie not to keep grabbing the same ole same ole.
1. Hanging out... Stem tee and Kut BF shorts. The tee is new, the shorts not worn much - I think this is purely a "denim is too hot for summer" phenomena, so I want to make an effort to wear them when it's a bit cooler. I do like the way the fit and feel. Tee not quite the colour I was hoping for, but it's so darn comfortable this will be a "see I can wear decent clothes even when I'm hanging out" tee.
2. To take my DD's for brunch. Getting a wear in for this drapy vest.
3-4. New EF dress! Worn to work, then out to dinner. Took the white jean jacket as a topper, but wasn't needed.... even sitting outside until 9:00!! Yes, that's weird for NS. Wardrobe hole identified: Lightweight cardigans.
5-7. The "floaty" top that Janet purchased a while ago, which was the straw that broke the camels back in terms of me placing a Nordies order.
8. I bought this all by myself! Costco special... easy casual summer dress.
9. J Crew top that a few fabbers have... although I think I'm the only one with black. That has posted. Love the thoughts on these shoes... I've had them a while, they are very comfortable (1.5" heels) but I'm not sure I'm feeling how they look. I do have several pairs of black summer shoes, but these are the most open, sandally of them... so they are nice and cool. And the others have higher heels. Thoughts? If they look dated or awful, I can accept that
10. Navy day! J Crew linen pants from last year (copied Suz), and new Zara linen top. Haven't worn these shoes much at all, bought them a couple of years ago, so the outfit was based on giving them a test run. They were great all day, what do you think? Seems this style is maybe back in?
Thanks for reading! Comments on anything welcome!
