WIW 06.26.12 : YLF love!

Today's outfit is almost completely inspired by YLF! I am copying Suz and Denise (CocoLion) and wearing rolled jeans, a blazer, and floaty blouse. I was inspired by Tanya to buy the Tinley Road blazer. And, since Sona's surgery is today, I wanted to wear something she had given me for good luck - I decided to take the olive earring and clip them to one of my chain bracelets as "charms." My obsession with blazers and floaty blouses is also a YLF influence. And of course I had to do the "pose" in #2!

Last photo is with the jeans unrolled - do you prefer them rolled or unrolled?

Looks great, love the bright blue and bright yellow together. I like both rolled and unrolled but with a slight preference for rolled. Blazer is a winner/keeper!

Fabulous!! Look at those sandals with that jacket. I love those colours. That blazer is fantastic on you; I wasn't 100% sure about the fit when I saw it initially but apparently it is one of those items that when you wear it, it suddenly works.

I like the jeans both rolled and unrolled.

And you are so sweet to wear Sona's good luck charm.

I have a slight preference for unrolled, but you pull off rolled just as well with that leg line that goes on for miles

Love it! Those sandals are amazing and go well with the jacket. This is one of my favorites I've seen you post - it's so unique and "you" and just well put together.

So nice that you get to keep a bit of Sona with you throughout the day to help keep her in your thoughts.

awesome! I love how you wear these two different hem lines on the jacket and blouse close to each other but they are perfect and don't compete because of the different drape of the fabrics. Cute idea to make the earrings charms, too. I find the unrolled leg a bit preferable but the unrolled is also attractive to see more of your great sandals.

Thank you, ladies! I really enjoyed this outfit today even though I was initially unsure about the rolled cuffs. The fact that all of you said it looked good helped a lot! I decided it was not the most flattering but flattering enough, plus I definitely wanted to show off the shoes (which received more compliments today, btw).

I can already imagine several variations that might be fun too - for example, a semi-tucked blouse, my platform sandals, and of course baggier true boyfriend jeans (which I don't own yet).

Suz, I think this jacket looks better with pants than with skirts/dresses. The proportions are better somehow.

Fabulous, Diana! I like it both rolled and unrolled, but the rolled looks funkier (in a good way). That jacket is amazing on you, it's like the most perfect shade of teal!

Gorgeous and I like the roll. We are blouse twins - I wear mine ALL the TIME. Love it. I've worn mine with my hot pink (Gap) ponte jacket, but not the royal blue yet. Thanks for the idea.
