Here is what I wore to meet Sona, Bebe, Mochi, and Isabel for brunch and shopping today! My new blue AE jacket arrived today so I decided what better way to inaugurate my YLF-fave jacket than to wear it to a YLF meetup! I did the cuffs with a combination of the Rae/AJ and Angie methods and I love it - they stayed put all day and I did not fuss with them at all, hooray! Angie's denim jacket + dress formula, plus my favorite combo of boots + bare legs for Una!

The fabric of your dress looks terrific paired with the jacket - that jacket has a nice even broken in fade that looks good right out of box. Truly great look for you Diana!

You look great --- not many people wear those muted shades so well, but you look positively radiant and serene in that greyed shade of violet. You know, with the print, reminds me of the turtle photo from Bella's art challenge! Dress and boots are a great formula on you. You look confident and grounded, feminine and fun all at the same time.

My dear, Diana. You don't have a poisoned eye for tapered Bermuda shorts at all. You wear them! Your short clams are tapered Bermuda shorts

I do love Club Monaco. But I have to be in a neutral mood because that's 99% of what they stock.

Ha, Angie. OK, I guess I have a poisoned eye specifically for the ones that hit right above the knee. Is there a special name for those?

I think CM has that sea of beige vibe that sort of turns me off, which is a shame because I think the individual pieces themselves are absolutely gorgeous.

I *think* you have a poisoned eye for classic Bermudas that widen just above the knee. Does that sound right?

In my outfits below, I'm wearing tapered Bermuda shorts, short clams and longer clams. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that you have a poisoned eye for these looks (unless it's for the black shorts shown here) - which are still tapered, although above the knee.

You look wonderful, Diana! (and so do you, Angie!) I agree 100% about CM. I remember several years ago they had stuff that was reminiscent of Prada, and I loved it! Then Poof! Back to beige and brown and gray and black....

Angie, I think you're right that it's the classic bermudas that I do not like. I do prefer the ones that cover the knee over those that do not, but none of your looks trigger my poison eye. I really love the last one with the grey dress!

Jonesy, thanks! I love CM because their fabrications are fab and their stuff generally fits me well. But the beige overload this year has kept me away :(. They really can look designer though - to your point!
