I realized that I was running out of ideas in my now 22 piece wardrobe. Initially, I pulled out my Maggy London wrap dress but today was just so humid and sticky that I didn't want to wear sleeves

And then I realized - ALL my dresses are made of synthetic, not-so breatheable fibres. I got frustrated and just pulled out the trusty cobalt dress because it was still light yet had that narrow skirt silhouette and flattering drape. I grabbed my moto vest and Aravon heels and I was out the door.

All was well until my coffee break at work. I got up my desk and all joints on the base of my toes felt like they locked up and I was in pain. Arthritis attacked me right then and there. I don't often get days like this as my arthritis is still mild (according to my doctor) but the message it sent is this: my 2 inch Aravons, despite it's comfort may be too high. I need to take my foot health more seriously!

The rest of my day is coloured by the pain I felt. I was cranky. I was limping. Ugh! I'm frustrated by my feet, my shoe options and how it will affect my style. I'll talk about this on another thread.

Why this outfit is awesome:
- comfy (makes dealing with a nasty arthritis attack easier)
- vibrant
- a little bit RATE
- I still look fab while I was in pain

What don't i like?
- arthritis. Oh wait, that's not part of my outfit?

Items:
Dress: Calvin Klein
Vest: W118 by Walter Baker
Shoes: Aravon (which was later switched to Crocs as soon as my arthritis hit)

ETA: see my cat's squishy belly in the picture? <3
