Here's last weeks set of outfits, would love any feedback you may have!

1. BR ad: Tunic and Sloan's
2. VC tube skirt, J Crew linen sweater, and new EF asymmetrical tank. Does this work?
3. Didn't wear this, but tried it on to see how it looked... What do you think? Do the hemlines look cool, or chaotic? I should have taken another angle...
4. The EF ballet neck dress.
5. Another new BR purchase, a super duper drapey sweater. JFE? I hope so... super comfy. But really, nothing flattering about it :). New capri's from Costco, love them!
6. WIW in the evening, swapped out the sweater for a tee, and he shoes for sneaks, and took DD off to Guide Camp.
7. Debut of the pleather capris, for Saturday stuff. I like these, but they are hot and sticky. I can see their use will be somewhat limited... shoulder season evenings, or AC. A good thing to know if one is considering pleather pants.

Looking at this collection, I have to say it's good to see some "lightening up" of my clothes. The weather MUST be improving!

I can't get past outfit #3 Elizabeth - absolutely LOVE this! And you've give me some ideas for my own wardrobe items. LOVE the asymmetrical shell - what a fabulous workhorse piece it's going to become!

You look great in all these outfits, Elizabeth! I love those black peep toes which instantly make your outfit kind of trendy.

I think both of the outfits you asked about look great. I think I might try them with a pointy toe as well.

You look absolutely radiant! Killer times 100. I love every one, maybe especially #2 with the asymmetrical tank peeking out. Stunning. (And how come your J. Crew sweater did not fade out like mine and Sveta's????)

LOVE #3 on you, too. I also think the new BR tank is gorgeous on you - plenty flattering!

Okay, now I have to go find that fuchsia crash helmet. You have done in my head for the day.

Oh, and regarding footwear, I meant to add that I think the on-order Franco Sarto "Holts" would be better with outfits #2 and #3 than the ones I was wearing. I generally only wear these with pants, as I find the contrast of the strap a bit much sometimes.

And the reason my sweater hasn't faded... I got scared when you said yours had, and went into protective mode. I am very careful and haven't spilled anything on it, I never wear it on it's own, consciously chose not to travel with it, and I don't think I've worn it nearly as much as you have. Bottom line: it's still unwashed. And yes, it does pass the sniff test

These are all great! The fit, proportions, and accesories are perfect in every outfit. I especially like the asymmetric hemlines in #3 and the sparkle of #7.

I really love #3 and #4...you are making me want that pink dress!! I think the hemlines completely work in #3. The one giving me pause is the hemlines in #2 but I see that is Suz's favorite!

I think the sweater in #5 is plenty flattering because that cream color looks great with your skin tone.

Is the EF tank in #2 and #3 sheer at all? I have and love the black version of this...I would love a white one but I'm having trouble finding white that doesn't show through. Haven't tried white EF though.

Peri, that tank is not see though, at all. One of the reasons I decided to splurge on it. Go for it! And I'd love to see you try the dress as well... it will certainly meet your comfort requirements. FYI it's the same size as the tank, since you have that already.

I must say it's funny to me to see that the fav among these, #3, is the one that hasn't actually made it out the door. I guess I must wear that combo some time

How does the sizing run on it? My black one (not exactly the same I see now) is S and all they have is M. I could go a bit looser than my black one but not a lot if it runs big.

Peri, mine is a M. I'm pretty sure you are smaller than I am, so it might not work. I am pretty consistently an M in EF, and go between M and L in other brands. I can send you actual garment measurements if you'd like.

That's okay, I ordered it already! They claimed there was only one left...that could just be marketing. But with free shipping and returns I feel okay with taking a chance. I had already tried a few from Nordstrom but didn't like the high-low they had as well as the asymmetrical hem like my black one.

EF is really odd...that particular top is not on the EF site, or on Nordstrom. Do they make items specifically for different stores, or do the stores get last year's things? It isn't exactly like my black one from last year, which has seaming and a split hem at the long point.

Ah, that explains it! Yes, mine has been washed lots of times, not due to spills (although I did get ink on the sleeve once) but just because of frequent wear. I washed it in delicate, cold water, and lie flat to dry, but it faded anyway. I still like it, but I do think the brighter tone was better than the soft pastel it has faded to.

The new Franco Sartos will be great with these outfits.

3, 4, and 5 are really very flattering on you.
The long vest in 3 has got some swish to it, and elongates beautifully.

I seem to remember having a hard time finding a "find" as well Peri... I got mine at Nordstroms, but I think the website showed only the black one. I hope it works out for you!

Omg. I love! #2. The links are fabulous on you. Also, I see you are doing the black and white. Hehe. I'm a black and white pusher this year

My one thought is, I really love the plain white shirts in the outfits with a necklace. They seem to finish the looks.

Don't you look radiant in these shades of pink? All in all this is an awesome set of outfits, I cannot even pick a favorite.
I think you should wear #3 a soon as weather permits because it is fab.
How smart of you to keep your pink JCrew sweater pristine but hey - isn't is a funny advice: "don't want your sweater to fade - don't wash it!"
Suz, I think we need to write to JCrew about the fading...
I try to stay as far away from pleather as I can for the same "hot and sticky" factor. It seems that the real leather breathes better even though it is not really a heat-friendly fabric...

And thank you Sveta. You guys really should tell J.Crew about the fading... I will if it happens to me! And yes, it is funny advice not to wash, but true in many cases. I wash clothes when they need it, rest assured :)... but I am happy to push the limits, esp if I'm at all worried about it, or if it needs dry cleaning!

Love these outfits - some of your best! You have got your colors and shapes down! I would try flats with the dress in #4 and wear the shoes in #4 with #2 and 3. Small things, the outfits are terrific!

Wow, a great week, Elizabeth! I love the new capris, stunning color, and great fit! I feel for you in the pleather pants, I did really wondered how they feel on---thus they look ever so great! You play so well with the flowy drapey hems, and you shoe collection is fab! My fave is nr 3 and 5.
