Just keeping myself honest by wearing jeans every couple of days, despite the temptation to live in gear all the time. Thankfully jeans and pants still fit!

These jeans are so high rise they are not comfy for all day wear with a lot of sitting (they come up to my ribcage), but I’m going to change into walking clothes in a couple of hours, so I decided to give them another shot. I’m not sold on the new shorter length (not apparent in the photo but from the side more obvious they’re short — they hit me at pretty much the same point as the model in the stock photo, maybe a smidge shorter), so I might release the hems at some point. But I need a high waist with this cropped Sarah Pacini sweater, which is a nice lightweight piece that spans fall-winter-spring for me.

Testing out the Naturalizers snake print sneakers. I wore the Vince ones around the house the other day and like them too. I may end up keeping both, if I can get Nordstrom to agree to a price adjustment (they went on sale right after I bought them). I really like both and they do serve slightly different needs/wants. I’m trying the rose gold versions of these too. And I’m done shopping for a long while. Finances will be dictating a tightening of the purse strings. I took a look through my summer stuff, and I should be in fine shape to last me for the season.

Hair is getting shaggy. It’s still damp in the photo so not as big as it will get when it dries.
