I wasn't going to post this, and then I decided I would anyway to learn from it. DH snapped the pic on the way out the door, so I didn't see it until I was uploading (no time to change).
Talbots mixed media blazer with matching turtleneck (originally chosen so as not to break up the color), Talbots bootcut trousers, Sam petty booties, local artist (who happens to be a work associate) bracelet and necklace.
I felt pretty good in this leaving the house. I was even proud of how I had matched the Petty's to the gry pants rather than falling back on black booties.
However, the picture makes the pants look too small (they aren't, I actually sized up in these). The jacket looks sloppy to my eye, and I don't know why. I literally tried on 8 of these, and I got the thumbs up from my mother, sister, and the sales associate on this size.
I will try posting pic later with the jacket off (it is freezing here again -5F this morning on my way in, and they have the office heat cranked).
Updated: Added the picture without the jacket.
