Well, I'm not doing quite as well with my New Year's resolution of keeping track how much I wear different items as I hoped. Especially since this my first WIW of the year, but that's ok.

Today I turned 30, so I figured what better way to start the day than with a new dress I found before Christmas. It's a J. Crew factory burgundy tweed dress and I absolutely love it. The only I didn't count on was that it was a bit itchy. I think next time I'll wear a cami or another top underneath it. I was orginally planning on wearing my cropped black jacket, but it had something on it, so I had to go with plan B - my black cardigan.

DH and I went out for a more casual dinner to celebrate (yay Thai), so I thought a costume change was in order. I'm wearing my new Fossil watch that was a Christmas gift from DH. It's a statement piece for me, because it's more of boyfriend watch and it's has a good bit of bling (at least for me) on it. Isn't it funny how there are some things we wouldn't give a second thought to if we were buying itfor ourselves, but when it's a gift, you realize it's almost perfect?

I'd love to hear any suggestions on how I can make these outfits better. Or if you have a better idea for how to prevent itching, I'd love to hear that too.
