WIW- Xmas party after the storm

Hello YLF,

Happy belated Christmas and Happy holidays to everyone.
We were hit big time by the storm and were out of power almost the entire week. Lots of trees have fallen in our neighbourhood including a big tree right in front of our house.
All in all we were very blessed because nothing really serious happened.

Yesterday we had a Christmas Party that had previously been planned for the other weekend.

I wore the outfit that I asked your opinion on so I wanted to show the final result.

That skirt is gorgeous and you look ultra beautiful in it. A week is a long time to be without power, do you have a fireplace or wood stove to keep you warm?

Thank you ladies. The success of this outfit is partly due to Shannon that 'discovered' the skirt and Angie that suggested the lipstick.

Karie we don't have any other form of generation warmth but electricity. We were actually very touched by the many offers we had from friends to stay over but ended up going to a hotel downtown.I was right next to the shops on Boxing Day

Celia, you look beautiful! What a gorgeous pair you and Mr. C. make. I am so sorry you were out of power for so long. We lost ours, too, but only for about a day and a half, and it returned before Christmas.
