I saw this photo on Pinterest and loved the striking colour combination of hot pink and emerald green. I wanted to recreate this look ever since. I was really happy when I got this hot pink sweater and the green/minty tee underneath yesterday. I was ready to wear it today and combined the sweater and the tee with my skinny jeans and a multicolored scarf. I thought the multicoloured scarf would add more fun to the outfit than a solid one. I also wore my animal print flats. I was happy with my outfit today. How do you like it? Suggestions always welcome.

I think this is a lovely combo and the way you have styled it works really well. The animal print flats are fab too.

Another fantastic look, and ANOTHER awesome scarf! Is the mint tee long sleeved? I ask because the only way to take this up another notch would be to have a bit of that mint peeking out of the sleeves.

I like yours better than the original - not so matchy-matchy, seemingly more organic, love the leopard flats. The inspiration looks more like a catalogue photo where the stylist had endless matching options and took it too far. Yours looks "thrown together" in the best possible way - if I saw you on the street I would think, that girl has great natural style and knows how to mix and match her clothes to great effect! With the original, it's more like that girl has too much money and probably buys shoes to match every top she has
Going to take out my pink scarf and try it with my dark teal sweater now....

I agree that the less "matchy" approach really makes your version sing! Love the shoes and the tailored, but easy fit of the top and pants. This is a real signature look for you!
