WIW- one blazer , one cardigan

Happy New Year,dear YLF.

This week I have been thinking about taking outfit pictures and the photos I took are funnily enough a cardigan outfit and a blazer outfit
1- Cardigan outfit. I wore this early in the week and felt good in it. I have been struggling to find a cardigan fit that it doesn't feel too cutesy on me ( it is not the feeling I want to project at work ) and on a first try this felt good.
2- Blazer outfit. I am wearing this today and it feels JFE. I usually like more high contrast outfits but the color of the shirt is flattering to my complexion so it balances it out in my mind. Also, I have been choosing longer skirts, no especial reason just a current preference.
3- Bonus photo of my new coat. It doesn't show well on the photo but is navy and I am hoping to wear it also without the fur.

Beautiful outfits! The camel sweater set is lovely and I think the blazer outfit is much better than JFE. Especially with your beautiful dark hair and black boots, this is a very polished, pretty ensemble. Some bright lippy would be pretty!

Gorgeous coat. I like you in the blazer outfit best, but what I did notice is that your hair is up in the first photo, and gives you a totally different vibe. Hair down (more contrast against the sweaters) and a piece of jewellery , and it might look very different !

love the twinset, but i think i'd either like to see the cardigan open instead of buttoned, or maybe button as is, but add a belt to give more waist definition. and the tall boots with the blazer fab!

The cardigan looks sophisticated in color and as part of a set with the top. These are all wonderful week thought out pieces that look fabulous on you.

Lisap I noticed that about the hair too, especially in photos you cannot see how the darker hair bookcases the darker bottom. Jewelry is not a big part of my style but I see how it would help balance it out.
Katerina ,the color of the cardigan and blouse are toffee and they were not born as a twin-set. Since Angie mentioned them some years ago I am a big fan of creating faux twin sets with different textures but same/approximately the same colors.
Kkards, I thought about the belt but am always worried of creating too many horizontal lines. I will try it when I wear the cardigan with a dress.

Love the new coat-looks cozy but polished, and love the fur! The cardi makes the perfect twin set with that top!& The jacket outfit is PERFECT not JFE!!!! Love your choice of a plaid shirt underneath and great boots with the longer length skirt! Great to see you Celia!

The blazer outfit is not JFE! The shirt really is pretty with your complexion, and I really like the boots with this.

The coat is gorgeous, leave the fur on.

I agree with LisaP about trying the cardigan outfit with your hair down or adding some type of accessory near your face. You said you don’t wear much jewelry, but what about a scarf?
