I usually don’t post my outfits, my photos are always awful
But I decided to challenge myself with styling this old sweater.

That sweater was bought while I had dark brown hair. With my now grey hair it is not the best color for me. I like it anyway

Looks lovely - the light grey color is pretty on your skin. I particularly love the use of tank top underneath - elegant and practical.
The texture of the pants is interesting and could be used with different add-ones - like olive scarf or berry/pink bag/hat, etc.

Thanks, slim cat. The color of the sweater is actually very pale mint or sea foam but it came out more grey. Wearing a tank underneath is essential, the sweater is see through

Pale mint sounds like my dream color in light colored sweaters - great find. Tank top versus plain camisole always wins in my book.
I'd love to have something similar for myself - I've got light grey sweater and I'm still looking for perfect wide legged pants .

Oh my god I adore this outfit! This is the kind of thing I wish I could wear but I end up looking short and dumpy. I cannot imagine this shade not working with greying hair too.

Carla Originally I wore the sweater with bootcut jeans, then with slim pants and jeans and now with wide pants
the sweater is in OK shape, for years I wore it only on weekends, it was too casual for an office wear. Now, everything goes.

oh, this outfit has an easy elegant vibe. i love that its dressy but not. its casual but not. this is that kind of outfit that works when you don't know how others will be dressed and you're walking the line between being over and under dressed!

That's a wonderful look. Seems like it would be great with grey hair. Maybe you could post in a way that your head is turned or face covered? The sheer overlayer is a great way to do oversized without being swamped by it.

FashIntern, I just don’t like pale colors on me. And yet, I buy one a year.
I’m good with sticking to my color palette: black, navy, whites, some caramel and olive. Nevertheless, I like to add some unexpected color once in a while to keep boredom away

I know what you mean about some colours not working quite as well once the hair changes colour. I found that brighter hues tend to work better than pastels...but this is a delicious sweater and well worth keeping. You've showed you can style it to perfection!
