I was inspired by Angie’s outfits in two ways. One was her blog post where she paired a plaid shirt under her striped turtleneck. The other way is she mentioned a couple of times wearing a long-sleeve tee over a button down shirt. The elements on me are not perfect--my plaid shirt is lower quality which really shows in the drape and my striped shirt is wrinkled and pulled from wearing the baby carrier earlier in the day. The boots are those Aquatalias that Angie recommended fall 2011. They are so wonderful for rainy days and dirty sidewalks. Mine are brown. The jeans are just plain dark blue J Brand. I had considered getting rid of them because I never really liked the fit in the back, but they are a little larger and higher rise than some of my other jeans and accommodate my current body a bit better. I just had to throw in the baby photo because it is a more realistic representation of how I look these days. He is a real cuddle-bug. I couldn’t get the photo in focus because I can’t remember to stop swaying (to comfort the baby) to take the photo, LOL. Also my hair is not this short, just pulled back. And I still need to get the prescription lenses for my new frames, so that’s why I don’t feature my new specs. And finally, I have yet to find a nursing bra that also provides the support to look good under clothing like a regular bra. Maybe that is just the nature of the beast if you avoid underwires, but let me know if you have any tips.

ETA: I just noticed that Angie actually had her shirttails out. That probably would have looked better.
