Lately it seems that at least one item I am wearing came from Zara; either brand new, clearance sale, or thrifted.
#1 for Elizabeth This is a recreation of an outfit with the Zara pleather shorts. I was inspired by Bill Cunningham's fashion week video;

and these booties that I found on final clearance after eyeballing them for some time. I will try with a black cami next time, wore with a white one originally.
#2 The top is Zara from the clearance sale. I tried to foldover my jeans like I have been seeing lately-pretty low risk with black.
#3 New Zara top that Aida and now Neel has, so I am in great company. I really can't resist that color blue.

Shevia, I absolutely love the blue on you. I really like all of your outfits and the one thing that is throwing me off in #1 is the slight sheerness of the top that shows the shorts beneath it. Other than that, three really nice looks.

Really like how well the shoes go in all three outfits. The boots in the first are especially cool.

Plonk, for nr 1-head to toe, and pedict K2k from Angie, for that one! I always love to see a bl&w otfit, but this one is really special, and curent!! Great job, Shevia! Love the blue shirts on you, they complement somehow your hair!

The loafers in #3 with the sun hat are so unexpected. I like it. #1 is very chic.I don't mind the slight grinning at all. #2 is a fabulous colour for you and you have got the roll exactly right, I think.

Looking good! Funny, I am striking out over and over again with Zara. I love how the clothes look online, and on people like you, but they just don't seem to work for me. The culottes are the first thing in three orders that I am considering. And thanks for showing me another styling option for those! I do think they will be versitile... just have to get over the fact that my IRL friend/fashion consultant gave them a "no".

With these outfits, I think I would suggest a black tank to minimize grinning in #1. #2 looks great - the colour is amazing and the jean roll adds that something extra. And kinda wishing I'd at least tried that top in 3, I love it and drool slightly every time I see it. You've styled it wonderfully here.

Seeing all the wonderful Zara pieces in Angie's recent blog post, I've been wishing that we had one in the area. Thank you for linking to the Bill Cunningham video. I got excited to wear shirts again.
Each of these outfits is fabulous on you. How would the shirt look knotted at the waist as in the video for your first outfit? Love the new shoes on you. Are they color-blocked to have white around the heel?
You look wonderful in blue, and the shirts look great with black.

Wow, Shevia -- you look amazing in all of these. I like every one. Are the pleather culottes not too warm for you at this time of year? I'm amazed if not...anyway -- love the outfit. And the shoes.

Meanwhile, those BLUES!! Both shades -- the deeper top of 2 and the pale, pale one -- are just remarkable on you. I really like the tipping on the top in 3. So cool and fresh.

Does top #2 have a hi-low type hem? Or is it just a bit cropped all over?

Suz, the top in #2 is straight all around. I am playing with pseudo crop tops a lot lately.
bj, I am really pushing the stump with booties and flats with culottes, but I guess I am on team JUE (just unstumpy enough)!
