WIW - Yellow blazer & zebra print

Hi all,

I have been looking for a pastel yellow blazer for years, and finally found one last week! As you can guess I was really thrilled with this find and very impatient to wear it.

I'm wearing it today with another recently found HEWI, a zebra print tee, and classic bootcut jeans. I kept the accessories simple : gold necklace and hoop earrings, and my black bag.
I chose my everyday black booties, but now after having read today's outfit formula I wish I had been more creative with footwear. A pointy-toe pump (or even a gold, metallic pointy-to pump!) would have been great!

Looks great. I think the yellow blazer will be interesting to play with over your spring/summer seasons. and the zebra print top has a lot of personality and will be able to go with a lot of your outfits.
I like how you’ve mixed an animal print piece with a coloured blazer rather than just pairing the zebra print with a neutral topper.

Everything is perfect - even the setting of the photo - how stunning do you look next to those flowers!

The colour of your blazer is gorgeous with your colouring and the zebra print top adds an element of chic edge. Bootcuts were made for you. With all of the above going on, you don't really need statement shoes - they would be cute, but really the focus is on the upper half.

This is so fabulous. I think the understated bag and shoes MAKE the outfit and let the zebra print and yellow jacket really pop yet keep them very sophisticated. Animal prints can get a little "flashy" sometimes if worn with a lot of metallic items, which is a great look too, although not my personal preference.... I think this is just perfect! The bright pink rhododendron flowers are truly lovely and you have a gorgeous garden/deck area.
