Thank you all who responded to my post yesterday. I just wanted to show you how I usually look with my hair up. It will maybe give you are better understanding of my hair issues
I believe that was also reason for the Hogwarts comment yesterday, since people are not used to see me with my hair down.

This jeans did feel little to tight when I put them on this morning but they did strech, you have to trust me on that

Silver bag in the picture is brand new, it was a birthday present from my family ( I may gave them som hints).

You hair looks good here. Personally speaking I think I may prefer the slightly softer look of it down to tied up...but that may be more about my sensibilities than yours because I have a lot of soft edge in my style.

I agree with you about hair looking better down. I just recently started to put it up since it got little too long, while I was thinking what to do about it. I am going for a trim next week, and will most likely ask for shoulder length bob as you suggested.

Beautiful outfit, amazing closet, and I got quite a chuckle about the handbag and your "possible" hints to family! Hope you had a good birthday.

As for the hair, I think you look good with it back as well, but it really sounds as if you are ready for a small change -- at minimum a trim. If it is feeling as if it's in your way and bothering you, that is the time to go ahead. It will always grow back, as we know!

I was kind of hoping that somebody will try to convince me to make a bigger change, but consensus is to keep it long it seems. So just a trim to a shoulder length it is

Hmm, it sounds like you are craving more change with your hair Would you consider having a bit of asymmetry cut into it...for example, you could have it a bit shorter on the side where you tuck behind your ear and have it gradually getting longer as it moves around your head to the other side? Or maybe have the ends colour dipped? I tried looking for images on Pinterest and found this, though its a drawing not a photo

I think your answer is right there. You need a dramatic change. Go for it.

I agree with Traci -- now that you've realized what you were hoping forum members to say, don't settle for a small change. And please don't let apparent consensus here keep you from it. I'm not sure what your original thread said your question was about your hair, but if you had asked "I have had the same-length hair for a while, and I'm ready for a big change, should I go for it?" you would probably have gotten resounding support for it.

You have gorgeous hair so I would think keeping it somewhat long to medium in length is a good idea. I love Diane's suggestion of
asymmetry

for a slight bit of edge.

Your newest post caught my attention first and I had to immediately stop to investigate the Hogwarts reference?
It could be fun to explore the multi directional issues relative to the comment but I'm going straight to the end, you are much too glamorous looking to be witchy. I understand the concern but I'm not seeing justification.
Like several of the women who are letting their hair grey, your polished style is a natural counter to any hint of "letting herself go", I need to add myself, a little of exactly what you've already mastered.
I thought all the hair adjustment ideas were great, you're very pretty, so it can't hardly go tpo wrong, while your hair looks very nice up, I do prefer styles that can be worn easily without props.
I am for a significant change, something that would lighten it and make it more changeable, I had excellent luck, showing a picture of something I liked, describing what works and doesn't, and then letting the stylist run free.
You have so many lovely qualities, maybe you shouldn't worry too much about changing one a little?

Or you could even go chin-length bob, slightly shorter in the back so it swings around your face. I say, go for change!

Just want to say that I love all the silver, and you look nice in all these pix! But I am no help in the hair regard...I can commiserate though, as I'm often in the same boat. I default to longer myself when I haven't found a cut I want to pursue actively, and it's less maintenance...but if I find one I really like, I go for it. So if you have something dramatic in mind, I vote yes.

Oh definitely change if you are craving it! I think you would look great in a variety of cuts. How about finding some images you like and posting God thoughts?

I think a lot of us may be envious of your beautiful hair and your elegant style. It's hard to suggest change to someone who appears so polished. I second Suz's suggestion that you post some images of hairstyles you like and we may be better able to help
