Hi friends, just a quick post from me to show you my fall wild card, a cool-toned leopard print blouse that I found at Winners last weekend. Since it's rather busy, I kept everything else super-minimal. Feedback welcome - can Inpull this off or too much?? Happy Friday everyone! Xx

You can absolutely pull this off!-) What a fun blouse (I love the neckline too), and looks great paired with the brown footwear.

Lovely, H. Your high-contrast colouring makes this work really well for you.

Angie - Winners is like TJ Maxx (I think it's their parent company) - but they carry high, mid and low labels.

The shoes are actually a full flat; they are from Aldo and surprisingly they are among the most comfortable shoes I have (and most of my shoes are sneakers ha).

Absolutely! This is pretty conservative fare, TG! YLF!

Marshall's and Homesense (housewares) are also affiliated. Our local Winners is small, but my Lapliage Neo and cashmere Calvin Klein peacoat was sourced there. I've also lucked out with Wacoal (bra), Clinique (bar soap), Frette (sheets and duvet cover) and Missoni (towels). Last time I was browsing, I saw Massimo Dutti, Philosophy, and some Zara. The bags and shoes are always worth checking out. Of course there is junk and weird stuff too!

If you are down for super trendy, you can add an eighties style chunky chain link bracelet or neck chain.

This is fabulous for you. You’ve toned it down enough that it seems authentic to you while being special for date night.

I’d like to find a cooler toned leopard item myself. I’ve seen a few but haven’t pulled the trigger. I do have one sweater for deep winter...

Helena you look beautiful, you picked the perfect outfit ❤️. Would you add a belt to accessorize, I always feel like tucking in and no belt something is missing, maybe try that if your comfortable with it. Have fun!

Lovely outfit, torontogirl, you look just like you. I’m thinking about your comments in your “dressing for frenemies” thread about feeling overdone or too “loud” in certain contexts or when you see certain people and I wonder if that sort of thing is at play with your hesitation here? Anyway here’s an outside voice saying you should rock this with confidence. How great that you’ll have the opportunity to experiment with different versions of this outfit for upcoming events!

Hi thanks everyone! Sarah, for some reason this outfit doesn't feel 'too much' although had I gone with more accessorizing, perhaps it would have. Thanks for the confidence boost!

Jess, I don't mind skipping a belt sometimes; that said, I would have liked to add a belt but I wanted to wear these cognac shoes and I'm still on the hunt for a belt to go with them. I do think it would finish the look nicely and had I gone with black shoes I def would have added my black belt to go with it.

Christina, go for it! I feel like this is going to be a surprisingly versatile piece. Too bad there's not more cool-toned leopard, but you might have luck with another animal print, such as a snake print, which are more often cool toned and in abundant supply this season from what I can see
