The weather has turned.
Yesterday I pulled out my old pink sweater (2020) and my even older navy boots (2018). Worn with new jeans (2026) and a scarf from Paris (2025). Photo was taken after 11 hours at work so not the best! I don’t think the scarf quite worked here - the colours feel a bit off to me. I did wear my terracotta bag (2024) but it is not in the photo. Next time I think I would swap the pink for navy, or maybe the navy boots for yellow sneakers or cream boots.
Today I wore my green cashmere (2024), old black and white platform Rollies (2021) and debuted a new belt (2026). I prefer this outfit.
I do enjoy wearing old and new together- I find it very satisfying. Both sweaters are classic, the jeans are current but also classic, and the shoes are past being trendy...
