Howdy ladies! I am sorry I have been too busy lately to be fully plugged in here. I have missed all of you.

Latest news: I got a pair of white sailor jeans. I was a bit worried about hemming them, because they are flares. But they flared to their full diameter above the point at which I hemmed them, so they didn't lose any flare, or flair for that matter, in the process.

So, white jeans sorted, as Angie would say, and all's right with the world. It's funny, but somehow just owning a good pair of white jeans makes me feel like a lady who has her mojo working.

More news: I got a haircut. They took off 13 inches which I am donating to Locks of Love. I like the new do a lot, but have a few tweaks to make next time. I know from other fabbers' experience to be patient, it's a journey.

I wore this today to film a seminar at a local senior center. I felt comfy and presentable. Hubs found this top for me, and it is one of my new favorite items. I reach for it when I need a little boost for confidence, and it always does the trick. It's very forgiving on tummy bulges, and it washes and dries like a dream.

Love everything about your look! Wonderful haircut; blouse made me smile and blue is so flattering on you; fresh look of white pants. . . .and could we be Diba twinnies? Are yours boots or booties? My hair is charcoal gray, so no bookending for me; the idea was a nude shoe if I ever get a tan.

Love the hair, looks bouncy and soft! It will take a little time to adjust to it, but it looks really good.

the jeans are amazing. You make me want to at least consider them. This pear has steered clear of light colored bottoms since shortly after college.

The top is so pretty. Love the colors and fit on you, doubly special that DH picked it!

Julie, you look BEAUTIFUL with your new hairdo. I absolutely love it. You did a great thing by donating your locks, but altruism aside -- you also upped your style ante by about a thousand!! I am thinking 40s film star glamour now, with your lovely thick, healthy cut!! Your eyes are really highlighted now.

I think you found a pair of pants that fit very well. Not easy to do with white jeans/trousers. Your hair looks so pretty -- the color is unique -- I think people pay a lot to get that kind of color.

DonnaF - thank you! My Dibas are booties, how about you? Very comfortable and stylish, aren't they?

Thistle - these jeans are made for curvy girls, as the back waist is elastic. The material has a nice weave texture, and it's a light denim, not too stiff. It has a bit of stretch, but it's sturdy even though it's light. They are not cheap (I paid $79) but they machine wash and dry great. Thanks for your kind comments.
