WIW - Weekend Walk - YouLookFab Forum

Since my teen years I've loved solitary walks to clear my mind and haven't been doing that much lately... So this weekend when I needed gift bags and a shirt for my youngest to wear for my daughter's graduation, I headed for a walk... I live just about a 15-20 minute walk from a Dollar Tree and Burlington Coat Factory....

I really enjoyed my walk and was lost in thoughts about how fast my family is changing... My daughter will be home for one year then back to grad school, which means my 3rd child will go away to college at the same time... My oldest will be moving out soon, so within a year it will be just my youngest home.. From a family of six to just 3... Better get myself ready for that!!!

...and you looked great for your walk!

We have a full house, but eldest is finished school now and ready to fledge, and youngest is home for the summer, but returns to uni in the fall. It may be just me and DH this winter!

PS: I always look forward to your WIW posts. I admire your style very much.

I felt the empty nest thing in high school as DD was already spending so much time outside the house...actually, we sent her to her grandparents in Japan every summer from age seven, so by college it was already a familiar concept. It must be a huge adjustment with four kids, but it will be an interesting new turn in your life!
